8. Qualifications:

(1) Pass in S.S.L.C Or equivalent examination.

(2) Diploma in Textile Technology recognized by the Government of Kerala.

(3) Certificate showing successful completion of training in Khadi spinning and weaving inany of the training centres recognized by the Khadi and Village Industries Commissioner Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board for conducting such training.

Note:

            1. In the absence of candidates with qualifications mentioned as in items (1),(2) and (3) candidates possessing qualifications 1 and 2 alone will be selected and sent for training .Such candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the Board for a period of five years after training.

2. All candidates appointed by direct recruitment shall pass General Test on Khadi andVillage Industries and General Test in Co-operation conducted by the Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board during the period of probation.
