        The list of selected candidates published  by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year  provided that the said list will continue to be in force  till  the  publication  of  a  new  list  after  the  expiry  of  the minimum  period  of  one  year  or  till  the  expiry  of  three  years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. 
Note:
3% of the vacancies shall be reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates  (Category:-  Locomotor disability/Cerebral  Palsy,Low Vision, Hearing impairement)for recruitment to the post as per GO(P)No.43/2009/SWD dated 13/10/2009.
5.  Method of appointment               :    Direct Recruitment
Note:
Persons  appointed  to  the  above  post  shall  be  liable notwithstanding , at the time  of requisition, they are holding higher  appointments,  to  serve  for  a  minimum  period  of  4 years(including  the  period  spent  on training)in  the  Defence Services or on assignment relating to Defence efforts anywhere in India or abroad if so required.  The liability to serve in the Defence Service will be limited to the first 10 years of service and will not ordinarily apply to persons  above 40 years of age. 
6.  Age limit                         :  21-40,  only candidates born between 02/01/1973  and  01/01/1992(both  dates included) are eligible to apply for  the post.

7.   Qualifications 
Degree in Electrical Engineering of the Kerala University or its equivalent.
