Note:- (i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only on the Kerala Public Service Commission website www.keralapsc.org. 
(ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued.
(iii) Separate ranked list will be prepared for the above districts in pursuance of this notification. Ranked Lists thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district.
(iv) Reservation community candidates should submit application for the post to the concerned district officer where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and note the name of that district against the relevant column of the application. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
(v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated, 27/05/1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS) No.4/61/PD dated 02/01/1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
5. Method of appointment :- Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Latin Catholic, OBC, Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar/Anglo Indian, OX, Dheevara community
only). 
6. Age Limit :- 1) 18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. in the case of Ezhava, Latin Catholic, OBC, Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar/ Anglo Indian, OX, Dheevara, communities.
2) 18 – 45. Only candidates born between 02/01/1967 and 01/01/1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OX candidates who have converted to Christianity from Scheduled Caste communities after attaining the age of eighteen years and Children of such parents.

7. Qualifications:-
A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. 
OR
A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
OR
A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University.
OR
A Pass in Plus Two (Part III Arabic Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala.
OR
A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language.
OR
A) A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications.
B) 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examination, Kerala.
OR
2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
OR
3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala.
OR
4) A Pass in Arabic Entrance Examinations of the Kerala or Calicut Universities.
8. SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT :-
(i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No.50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O.(MS) No.9/78/G.Edn. dated 21.1.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. Soldiers in active service and those working in Base establishment are included under the terms of Jawans, such facts should be noted in the space provided for in the online application form. Wives of Jawans should note in the application that they are wives of Jawans. Such candidates should obtain proper certificates from the Officer commanding stating the name, Military rank and Military address of their husbands and produce the same as and when required by the Commission (G.O.(MS) No.509/64/Edn. Dated 19/09/1964, G.O.(MS) No.614/65/Edn. Dated 09/11/65 and G.O.(MS)
No.243/66/Edn dated 27/05/66). (ii) First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of
appointment as Teachers [G.O.(MS) No.122/75/G.Edn. dated 27.05.1975 and G.O.(MS) No.50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970]. Note :- The candidates who claim concessions on the basic of any of the reason mentioned in para 2 of the general conditions should select “Are you eligible for age relaxation as “yes” on the online application and give details in the space following. Otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates. Upper age limit after allowing the relaxation as per rule should not exceed 50 years of age. (See para 2 of General Conditions).

Note :-Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Works Department, Industries Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Architecture and Toun Planning Department may also apply and they will be allowed age relaxation to the extent of their service in those Department. A Service Certificate in original showing the length of their service should be produced as and when call for. Those also are eligible for age relaxation have to furnish the details in column 12 of the application form. [The maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years as on 01.01.2012].
7. Qualifications :-
First class Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
OR
First class Masters degree in Architecture.
NOTE :- (1) The term first class means “First class with minimum of 60% aggregate Marks”. [G.O.(P) No.6/2003/H.Edn dated 24/01/2003]. The total marks of all the years/ semesters of the course in which University Examinations are conduct shall be taken in to account in calculating the 60% marks. (The percentage of marks obtained fore above mentioned examination and subject of Engineering Degree should also be furnished in the column prescribed for noting qualification, in the application).
(2) Probation :- Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joined duty be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
(3) Liability of Service in Defence Services :- Persons appointed to the post shall be liable, not with standing that at the time of requisition they are holding higher appointments to service for a minimum period of Four years (including period spent in training) in the Defence services or on assignments relating to Defence efforts any where in India or abroad, if so required. The liability to serve in the Defence Service will be limited to the first 10 years of service and will not ordinarily apply to persons above 40 years of age.

Kerala PSC Agricultural Officer Recruitment Exam

(2) In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
7. Qualifications :-
I. Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent there to in the respective subject by any of the Universities in Kerala.
II (i) B.Ed. in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala.
(ii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
(iii) In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified in items (1) & (2) above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent there to by any of the Universities in Kerala.
III. Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government.
Note: -
Persons who have acquired M.Ed in the subject concerned recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala are exempted from B.Ed qualification.
EXEMPTIONS FOR THE POST
1. Those persons who have passed the State Level Eligibility Test for the post of College Lecturers conducted by Government of Kerala are exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary School Teachers.
2. Those persons who have passed the National Eligibility Test/ Junior Research Fellowship shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test.
3. Persons with Ph.D /M.Phil / M.Ed Degree shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test  provided the M.Phil in the concerned subject should be one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala.
4. The teachers who have completed Ten (10) years of approved teaching service at the High School level in the General Education Subordinate Service shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary School Teacher.
Note :- 1) Higher Secondary School Teacher Junior means Part-time post of Higher Secondary School Teacher.
2) The list of selected candidates published by the commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of 3 years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force, if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of One year is published. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the vacancies reported for special recruitment for ST only.
